Chicken Marengo


(CROCK POT)

Ingredients:

3 pounds boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
2 (1.5oz) package spaghetti sauce mix
1 cup white cooking wine
4 fresh tomatoes, quartered
1/2-1 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
hot, cooked pasta

Directions:

Place chicken in bottom of crock pot. Combine dry spaghetti sauce mix with wine; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on LOW 6-7 hours. Turn crock pot to HIGH. Add tomatoes and mushrooms. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30-40 minutes or until tomatoes are done. Serve over hot, cooked pasta. Makes 4-5 servings.
