Shrimp and Rice Casserole


Ingredients:

1 T. oil

1 T. flour

3 c. raw peeled shrimp

1/2 c. chopped ripe olives

1 t. Worcestershire

1 chopped green pepper

½ t. salt

1 1/2 c. undrained tomatoes

½ red pepper 1 c. grated cheese

1/2 c. chopped onions

¼ t. thyme 3 c. cooked rice

1/2 c. parsley flakes

¼ t. basil paprika

1 lb. pork sausage

¼ t. oregano

1 clove garlic

1 t. accent

Directions:

Make roux of oil and flour. Add onions and garlic, cook a few minutes, till transparent. Add sausage and green pepper; cook till sausage is done, about 5 minutes. Add parsley, tomatoes, olives, and seasonings. Boil 5 minutes. Add shrimp and mix well. Pour into a buttered 9x13 casserole dish, sprinkle with the cheese and paprika. Bake at 350 for 15 min
