Ingredients:
2 lbs bulk sausage
2 t. prepared yellow mustard
12 slices white bread, crusts removed
6 large eggs
1 t. worcestershire sauce
1/8 t. nutmeg
1/4 each red and green pepper
1 lb. shredded swiss cheese
4 c. milk
1/8 t. black pepper
1/8 t. salt
Directions: Day before serving, grease 13X9 baking pan. In large skillet, saute sausage and peppers. Drain. Add mustard. Arrange bread in bottom of pan. Top with sausage mixture and cheese. In large bowl lightly beat eggs. Beat in milk, worcestershire sauce, pepper and salt. Pour over layers in pan. Cover tightly and refrigerate overnight. Next day, heat oven to 350. Bake strata uncovered, 40-50 minutes or until center seems set. Serve immediately.
