Marinated Flank Steak


1 flank steak

1 onion, finely chopped

1/3 cup soy sauce

1 clove garlic, crushed

2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbs. lemon juice

1 Tbs. brown sugar

½ tsp grated fresh ginger

Mix all ingredients in a Ziploc bag. Marinate several hours, or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking. Grill or broil for 6 minutes per side for medium rare (a little longer if steak is thick or very cold). Let steak rest on cutting board for 10 minutes before slicing. Slice diagonally across grain.
