Granola Recipe One

In a large bowl combine:
10-13 cups of oats
½ lb coconut
1 cup sesame seeds
¼-½ cup flax seeds
5 cups chopped almonds and /or pecans
2 cups unsalted sunflower seeds (opt.)
1 to 1-1/2 cups wheat germ (opt.)

In the microwave or in a pan on the stove over medium heat, warm:
1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1-1/2 cups canola or vegetable oil
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter

Or replace the corn syrup and peanut butter with 1 cup of honey.
Stir over heat until sugar is dissolved and ingredients are mixed well.
Pour sauce over oat mixture, gradually. Stir to combine. Spread granola onto 2 or 3 baking sheets.
Toast 300 deg F oven for 20-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Cool. Add 3-4 cups chopped dried apricots and or dried cranberries.
Store in air tight containers.
