Maple Nut granola

In a bowl combine:
6 cups of rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
½ cup sliced almonds
2 tsp cinnamon
½ cup wheat germ
In another bowl, whisk together:
2 Tbls vegetable oil
1 cup pure maple syrup
Pour the mixture over the oat mixture all at once and toss well.
Spread granola evenly in a shallow baking dish or baking sheet.
Bake at 250 deg F in preheated oven for 2 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
Stir in ½ cups of raisins and ½ cups of cranberries.
Cool to room temperature. Store in air tight container at room temperature up to 1 week.
