Ingredients:
3 large potatoes
3 carrots
3 celery stalks
½ cup onion
1 yellow summer squash
3 bay leaves
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. onion salt
¼ tsp. garlic salt
Chicken broth
Directions:
Chop all vegetables then cover with chicken broth-enough to just cover them. Add the seasonings and cook until tender adding the squash just before the rest are tender. Simmer and add:
1 can evaporated milk
¼ cup butter
½ cooked bacon
8-10 sliced Canadian bacon
¾ cup milk blended with ¼ cup flour
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Simmer 5 minutes
